Dun Laoghaire Choral Society and Galway Baroque Singers are delighted to launch CHORAL FUSION, a series of Double-Choir music that will be performed in Dublin and Galway between November 2016 and March 2018.
The first concert in the series is Solomon, by Handel, universally recognised as one of Handel's finest masterpieces. Featuring magnificent choruses, but more importantly containing rapturous love music, nature imagery, affecting emotion and the vividly portrayed dramatic scene of Solomon’s famous judgement over the disputed infant.
The two choirs will be accompanied by some of Ireland's best young soloists in Ireland: Sarah Brady, Soprano, Amy Ní Fhearraigh, Soprano, Bríd Ní Ghuragáin, Alto, Fearghal Curtis, tenor, Andrew Gavin, tenor and Kevin Neville, bass and by the exciting young orchestra that is Fishamble Sinfonia
Tickets are available on Eventbrite here and will also be available at the door. They cost €20 for general admission and €15 for students.
